MESSAGE FROM THE CURRENT MASTER
We welcome fellow Masons, and would-be Masons to contact us in pursuing their interest in the Craft. This Lodge has much to offer, with the Brethren taking active and supporting roles in our business, charitable and social events. We practice Freemasonry entirely according to the principles of the Craft and there are nearly 2,000 years of experience in this Lodge at the moment, so there is much to share and learn. Should you wish to enquire, I’ll be more than happy to acquaint you with the benefits of membership, and a brief description of the various landmarks of our activities.
WBro Mervyn J Castle JP
Master 2011-12

MEETING TIMES
Petone Daylight Lodge No. 458 meets on the third Thursday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December at 1pm at the Udy Street, Petone Masonic Centre.
We have working-age members who work during the day and meet with us during a slightly longer lunch break from work. The benefits of this are the gain of several evenings a month from an evening lodge, and this is seen by our members as a very great advantage, freeing them for more time with their families.
Additionally, to cater for families, on the odd months when we don’t formally meet, social events are arranged including luncheons, cinema and a number of other interesting get-togethers for family and friends. This is the social nature of this Lodge.
We are enjoined of the New Zealand Constitution, in particular of District 21, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
